About Me…..

My name is Libby. I am a mother of three adult sons and I am also a grand mother.  I have taught in a private kindergarten enrichment program, a co-operative nursery school and as a Funfit instructor in Maryland.  I am pleased to say that I am active, healthy and in reasonably good shape!!  I enjoy hiking with my three dogs, biking, fly-fishing and being outside.  I attend Pilates on a regular basis and have reaped the benefits of that both physically and emotionally.  I believe that there are three things that keep you feeling young...an active life, a sense of whimsy and a passion for what you do.

I really enjoy working with young children.  Their honesty and energy inspire me and I find that being around them is therapeutic!!  When I spoke to Celia about starting a Funfit program in this area I became more and more excited as it started to become a reality.  There are so many different programs which involve school age kids, but we seem to be lacking in activities for the pre-school age kids.
